Ahmedabad to Udaipur (3 Days Tours)

Day 1: Drive from Ahmedabad to Udaipur (260 km / approx. 5–6 hrs)

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel or airport in Ahmedabad and begin your scenic drive to Udaipur. The journey takes you through changing landscapes—from Gujarat’s plains to the rolling hills of Rajasthan—offering glimpses of rural life, small villages, and countryside vistas.

Upon arrival in Udaipur, check in at your hotel and take some time to relax and refresh. Later in the afternoon, proceed for a serene boat ride on Lake Pichola, one of the most picturesque lakes in India. As you glide across the calm waters, admire the stunning Lake Palace Udaipur appearing to float in the middle of the lake, along with views of Jag Mandir and the majestic City Palace complex.

The evening is perfect to enjoy the romantic ambiance of Udaipur, with beautiful reflections of palaces and havelis in the lake waters. You may also explore nearby streets or relax at a lakeside café.

Day 2: Udaipur Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, begin a comprehensive city tour of Udaipur, known as the “City of Lakes.” Start with a visit to the grand City Palace Udaipur, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Explore its courtyards, balconies, and museum sections displaying royal artifacts, paintings, and intricate peacock mosaics, while enjoying panoramic views over Lake Pichola.

Continue to Jagdish Temple, a beautifully carved 17th-century temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, known for its detailed sculptures and spiritual ambiance. Proceed to Saheliyon Ki Bari, a peaceful royal garden featuring marble pavilions, lotus pools, fountains, and elephant sculptures, once used by royal ladies for leisure.

Later, visit the historic Ahar Cenotaphs, a cluster of royal memorials showcasing unique Rajput architecture. Continue to Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace, located atop a hill, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Aravalli hills, lakes, and countryside—especially mesmerizing during sunset.

You will also visit the Bharatiya Lok Kala Museum to explore Rajasthan’s rich folk traditions, including puppets, costumes, musical instruments, and tribal art. Later, enjoy time exploring local markets such as Hathi Pol Bazaar and Chetak Circle, famous for handicrafts, miniature paintings, textiles, and souvenirs.

In the evening, experience the vibrant Dharohar Folk Dance Show Bagore Ki Haveli, where traditional Rajasthani music and dance performances bring the region’s culture to life in a historic setting.

Day 3: Drive from Udaipur to Ahmedabad (260 km / approx. 5–6 hrs)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your return drive to Ahmedabad. Enjoy the scenic countryside views once again as you travel through rural Rajasthan and Gujarat, passing small settlements and natural landscapes.

Upon arrival in Ahmedabad, you will be dropped off at your hotel or airport for your onward journey. The tour concludes with wonderful memories of royal heritage, scenic lakes, and cultural experiences in Udaipur
