Day 1: Arrival in Vadodara – Royal Heritage Exploration

Upon arrival at Vadodara airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After some time to relax, begin your city tour by visiting the magnificent Lakshmi Vilas Palace, one of the largest private residences in the world, showcasing Indo-Saracenic architecture, lavish interiors, and sprawling gardens. Continue to the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum, where you will explore an impressive collection of European paintings, sculptures, and royal artifacts that reflect the refined tastes of the Gaekwad dynasty. Later, visit Kirti Mandir, a peaceful memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi and the royal family, adorned with murals depicting India’s freedom movement. Day 2: Vadodara – Kevadia (Approx. 90 kms / 2 hrs drive)

After breakfast, begin your scenic drive to Kevadia, located along the banks of the Narmada River. En route, visit the UNESCO-listed Pavagadh-Champaner Archaeological Park, known for its ancient forts, mosques, stepwells, and temples that reflect a blend of Hindu and Islamic architecture. Continue to Kevadia and check in at your hotel or tent accommodation. Later, visit the world-famous Statue of Unity, the tallest statue globally, dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Later, begin your long but scenic drive to Nashik, passing through rural landscapes, forests, and small towns that showcase Western India’s countryside charm. Day 4: Nashik – Spiritual and Cultural Exploration

After breakfast, begin your city tour of Nashik, one of India’s most important pilgrimage destinations. Drive to Trimbakeshwar (approx. 30 kms / 1 hour), home to one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlinga temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Continue to Brahmagiri Hills, offering panoramic views and mythological significance as the origin of the Godavari River. Visit Gangadwar, a sacred water source, followed by the Panchavati area, where you will explore Ram Kund, Kalaram Temple, and Sita Gufa, all deeply connected to the Ramayana. The day blends spirituality, mythology, and scenic beauty, providing a meaningful cultural experience.

Day 5: Nashik – Shirdi – Aurangabad (Approx. 170 kms / 4–5 hrs drive)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Aurangabad. En route, stop at the famous Shirdi Sai Baba Temple, one of India’s most visited pilgrimage sites, where devotees gather from across the world. Spend time exploring the temple complex and experiencing its spiritual atmosphere. Continue your drive to Aurangabad and check in at your hotel upon arrival. The rest of the day is at leisure, allowing you to relax or explore local markets. Aurangabad serves as a gateway to some of India’s most iconic heritage sites.

Day 6: Aurangabad – Ajanta Caves Excursion (Approx. 210 kms round trip / 5 hrs drive)

After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to the Ajanta Caves, located about 105 kms from Aurangabad. These UNESCO World Heritage caves date back to the 2nd century BCE and are renowned for their exquisite frescoes, sculptures, and depictions of Buddha’s life and teachings. The caves are set in a horseshoe-shaped gorge, creating a serene and picturesque environment. Spend ample time exploring the intricate artwork and learning about ancient Indian craftsmanship and spirituality. Return to Aurangabad in the evening and relax at your hotel.

Day 7: Aurangabad – Ellora Caves & Departure

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed for a half-day excursion to the Ellora Caves (approx. 30 kms / 1 hour drive). This UNESCO World Heritage Site features a remarkable complex of Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain caves carved between the 6th and 10th centuries. The highlight is the Kailasa Temple, an extraordinary monolithic structure carved from a single rock. Continue to visit the Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas, followed by a visit to Daulatabad Fort, known for its strategic design and historical significance.
