Day 1: Arrival in Dibrugarh – City Tour
Upon arrival at Dibrugarh Airport, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. After check-in and some relaxation, begin the city tour of Dibrugarh, known as the tea city of India. Visit Jokai Botanical Garden, home to a wide variety of flora and medicinal plants, offering a peaceful natural setting. Continue exploring nearby local areas to get a glimpse of Assamese lifestyle and culture. The town’s colonial charm and tea heritage create a unique atmosphere. Day 2: Dibrugarh – Jeypore Rainforest & Tea Estate Experience
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Jeypore Rainforest (approx. 50 km / 1.5 hrs), one of the last remaining rainforests in Assam. Begin a guided nature walk through dense greenery, rich in biodiversity and birdlife. After exploring the forest, return to Dibrugarh and visit a heritage tea estate. Day 3: Dibrugarh – Drive to Majuli (Approx. 155 km / 5–6 hrs including ferry)
After breakfast, drive to Nimathi Ghat (approx. 140 km / 4 hrs), passing through scenic countryside and tea gardens. On arrival, board a ferry to Majuli Island (approx. 1 hour ferry ride) across the Brahmaputra River. Upon reaching Kamalabari Ghat, transfer to your lodge and check-in. Begin exploring Majuli, known for its monasteries (Satras) and tribal communities.
