Day 1: Guwahati – Shillong (100 kms / approx. 3 hours)

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport, meet your driver and begin your scenic drive to Shillong, covering approximately 100 kilometers in about 3 hours. En route, enjoy beautiful views of the lush green hills and stop at Umiam Lake, a serene reservoir perfect for photography. Upon arrival in Shillong, check in at your hotel and relax. Later, visit the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians, known for its peaceful ambiance and impressive architecture. In the evening, explore Police Bazar, a lively market area ideal for shopping and local experiences. Return to your hotel after sightseeing. Overnight at hotel in Shillong.

Day 2: Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong (120 kms round trip / approx. 5–6 hours)

After breakfast at the hotel, begin a full-day excursion to Cherrapunjee, covering approximately 120 kilometers round trip in about 5 to 6 hours. En route, visit Elephant Falls, a beautiful multi-tiered waterfall surrounded by greenery. Continue to Mawsmai Cave to explore its fascinating limestone formations. Visit Nohkalikai Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India, offering spectacular views. Also explore Seven Sisters Falls and Thankarang Park for panoramic landscapes. After sightseeing, drive back to Shillong, enjoying the scenic beauty of Meghalaya’s hills. Overnight at hotel in Shillong.

Day 3: Shillong – Mawllynong – Shillong (180 kms round trip / approx. 6–7 hours)

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Mawllynong, located approximately 180 kilometers round trip and taking around 6 to 7 hours. Known as the cleanest village in Asia, Mawllynong offers beautifully maintained surroundings, bamboo walkways, and vibrant gardens. Visit the Living Root Bridge, an incredible example of bio-engineering by local tribes. Experience local village life and observe traditional practices such as betel nut cultivation. Enjoy the serene environment and fresh air of this pristine village. Later, drive back to Shillong in the evening. Overnight at hotel in Shillong.

Day 4: Shillong – Guwahati (100 kms / approx. 3 hours)

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Guwahati, covering approximately 100 kilometers in about 3 hours. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. Later, visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, one of the most revered Shakti Peeths, located atop Nilachal Hill. Explore the temple complex and its spiritual significance. You may also visit Sankardev Kalakshetra, a cultural center showcasing Assam’s heritage. In the evening, enjoy an optional Brahmaputra River cruise (direct payment basis). Return to your hotel after sightseeing. Overnight at hotel in Guwahati.

Day 5: Guwahati – Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and prepare for your departure. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some time for last-minute shopping or relaxation. You will be transferred to Guwahati Airport for your onward journey. Depart with wonderful memories of Northeast India’s scenic beauty, cultural richness, and peaceful landscapes.
