Day 1: Arrival in Colombo – City Tour

Arrive at Colombo International Airport where our representative will assist you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, begin your city tour exploring the commercial capital of Sri Lanka. Visit Independence Square and the historic Gangaramaya Temple, known for its unique architecture and religious significance. Drive past colonial-era landmarks including the Old Parliament and Galle Face area. Explore bustling local markets and shopping streets for handicrafts and souvenirs. Day 2: Colombo – Anuradhapura (Approx. 206 km / 5 hrs)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Anuradhapura, one of the most sacred ancient cities of Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, begin the city tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its ancient stupas and monasteries. Visit the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi, believed to be grown from the tree under which Buddha attained enlightenment. Explore massive dagobas such as Ruwanwelisaya and ancient ruins reflecting advanced urban planning. Walk through archaeological remains and sacred complexes that showcase early Buddhist civilization. Day 3: Anuradhapura – Mihintale – Aukana – Habarana (Approx. 90 km / 3 hrs)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Mihintale, considered the birthplace of Buddhism in Sri Lanka, and climb to the summit for panoramic views. Continue your journey to Aukana to visit the impressive Aukana Buddha Statue, a magnificent 12-meter-high standing Buddha carved from rock. Proceed to Habarana, a peaceful location surrounded by forests and lakes. En route, enjoy scenic countryside landscapes and village life. Check in at your hotel and relax. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Habarana – Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa – Habarana (Approx. 90 km round trip)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Sigiriya Rock Fortress and begin your climb to this UNESCO-listed marvel. Walk through landscaped gardens, water features, fresco galleries, and the famous Lion Gate before reaching the summit for stunning views. Later, proceed to Polonnaruwa for a guided city tour of the ancient capital. Explore royal palaces, temples, and the famous Gal Vihara Buddha statues carved in granite. Discover ancient reservoirs and irrigation systems reflecting advanced engineering. Return to Habarana. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Habarana – Dambulla – Kandy (Approx. 100 km / 3 hrs)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO site featuring ancient cave shrines with impressive murals and Buddha statues. Continue your journey to Kandy with an en route visit to a spice plantation in Matale to learn about Sri Lanka’s aromatic spices. Day 6: Kandy – Pinnawala – Nuwara Eliya (Approx. 80 km / 3 hrs)

Day 7: Nuwara Eliya – Yala National Park (Approx. 197 km / 5 hrs)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Yala National Park via scenic mountain and countryside routes. En route, visit the beautiful Ravana Falls. Day 8: Yala – Bentota (Approx. 240 km / 5–6 hrs)
