Day 1: Arrive Bhopal – City Tour

Upon arrival at Bhopal airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After freshening up, begin the city tour of Bhopal. Visit the grand Taj-ul-Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, known for its impressive domes and vast courtyard. Continue to Moti Masjid, admired for its elegant Mughal-style design. Proceed to Shaukat Mahal, showcasing a unique Indo-European architectural style. Later, enjoy a relaxing visit near the Upper Lake, offering scenic views and a peaceful atmosphere. If time permits, explore local markets for handicrafts. Return to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Bhopal – Sanchi – Udayagiri – Bhopal (120 km round trip / approx. 3 hrs drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Sanchi, one of India’s most significant Buddhist heritage sites. Begin the guided tour of the UNESCO-listed Sanchi Stupa, built by Emperor Ashoka and renowned for its intricately carved gateways depicting Buddhist stories. Explore the surrounding monasteries, stupas, and temple remains that illustrate ancient monastic life. Later, proceed to Udayagiri Caves, famous for early Hindu rock-cut sculptures and inscriptions from the Gupta period. Admire the iconic Varaha carving and other detailed reliefs. After sightseeing, drive back to Bhopal. Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Bhopal – Bhimbetka – Bhojpur – Bhopal (90 km round trip / approx. 3 hrs drive)

After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Bhimbetka Rock Shelters, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring prehistoric cave paintings dating back over 10,000 years. Explore several rock shelters showcasing scenes of hunting, dancing, and early human life, offering insight into prehistoric culture. Continue to Bhojpur to visit the impressive Bhojeshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and known for its massive monolithic Shiva Lingam. Observe the unfinished yet grand temple structure and its architectural significance. After completing the visits, drive back to Bhopal. Evening free for relaxation or optional market visit. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Bhopal – Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed for your transfer to Bhopal airport for your onward journey. Depending on your flight schedule, you may enjoy a short walk near the lake or visit nearby markets. Reflect on the journey through UNESCO World Heritage Sites, ancient art, and architectural marvels of central India. The tour concludes with enriching cultural experiences. End of tour.
