Continue your journey to Agra by train, where the iconic Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Itmad-ud-Daulah showcase the grandeur of the Mughal era. Conclude in Delhi with an immersive exploration of Old and New Delhi, featuring magnificent monuments such as Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s Tomb, and Qutub Minar. This itinerary perfectly blends history, culture, and architectural splendor for an unforgettable Indian experience.

 

Day 1: Arrival in Bhopal – City Tour

Upon arrival at Bhopal airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, begin the city tour of Bhopal, known for its beautiful lakes and rich cultural heritage. Visit the historic Jama Masjid and admire its grand architecture, followed by Moti Masjid, inspired by Delhi’s Mughal mosques. Continue to Taj-ul-Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, showcasing impressive domes and minarets. Later, explore Bharat Bhawan, a renowned center for arts and culture. After a fulfilling day, return to your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Bhopal.


Day 2: Bhopal – Bhimbetka – Bhojpur – Bhopal (Approx. 80 kms / 2 hrs round trip)

After breakfast at the hotel, begin an excursion to the UNESCO-listed Bhimbetka Rock Shelters, located approx. 45 km from Bhopal (1 hour drive). These prehistoric caves feature ancient rock paintings dating back thousands of years, offering a glimpse into early human life.

Continue to Bhojpur to visit the famous Bhojeshwar Temple, known for its massive Shiva lingam and incomplete yet magnificent architecture. After exploring these historic sites, drive back to Bhopal. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Bhopal.


Day 3: Bhopal – Sanchi – Udayagiri – Bhopal (Approx. 100 kms / 3 hrs round trip)

After breakfast, drive to Sanchi Stupa, located approx. 50 km (1.5 hours). This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the finest examples of Buddhist architecture, featuring stupas, monasteries, and intricately carved gateways.

Later, proceed to Udayagiri Caves, known for their Gupta-era rock-cut sculptures and historical significance. Explore the caves and admire the ancient carvings depicting Hindu mythology. After the excursion, return to Bhopal for relaxation. Overnight at hotel in Bhopal.


Day 4: Bhopal – Agra (Train Journey)

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the railway station to board the Shatabdi Express train to Agra (approx. 6–7 hours journey). Upon arrival, you will be assisted and transferred to your hotel.

Agra, once the capital of the Mughal Empire, welcomes you with its rich history and architectural wonders. Spend the evening at leisure or explore local markets. Overnight at hotel in Agra.


Day 5: Agra – Delhi (210 kms / 4 hrs approx)

Early morning, visit the iconic Taj Mahal at sunrise, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Admire its breathtaking white marble beauty and learn about its romantic history.

Later, visit Agra Fort, a magnificent Mughal fortress showcasing royal palaces and courtyards. Continue to Itmad-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj), known for its delicate marble inlay work.

After sightseeing, drive to Delhi (approx. 210 kms / 4 hours). Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.


Day 6: Delhi Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, begin a full-day city tour of Delhi. Start with Old Delhi, visiting the grand Red Fort (photo stop) and the magnificent Jama Masjid. Enjoy a rickshaw ride through the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk and visit Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi.

In New Delhi, visit Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO site and precursor to the Taj Mahal, followed by Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world. Also visit the Lotus Temple (Bahá?í House of Worship). Drive past India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, and Parliament House. Return to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.


Day 7: Delhi – Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, check out as per standard time. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for last-minute shopping or leisure activities. Later, you will be transferred to Delhi airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your enriching heritage tour.
