Day 1: Drive from Ahmedabad to Velavadar National Park via Lothal (Approx. 170 km / 4–5 hrs)

After breakfast at your hotel, begin your journey from Ahmedabad towards Velavadar National Park. En route, visit the historic archaeological site of Lothal, one of the earliest known ports of the Indus Valley Civilization. Explore the fascinating ruins, including the dockyard, drainage systems, and ancient structures that highlight advanced urban planning. Visit the site museum to gain deeper insights into the Harappan culture, trade systems, and lifestyle.

After the visit, continue your drive through rural Gujarat landscapes to Velavadar. Upon arrival, check into your safari lodge and relax amidst the serene grassland surroundings. Day 2: Velavadar National Park Safari and Drive to Ahmedabad (Approx. 170 km / 4–5 hrs)

After breakfast at the lodge, proceed for an exciting wildlife safari in Velavadar National Park, accompanied by an expert naturalist. Explore the park’s unique grassland ecosystem, ideal for spotting herds of elegant blackbucks moving gracefully across open plains. You may also encounter nilgai, jackals, wolves, jungle cats, and foxes. The park is also a haven for birdwatchers, with species such as pelicans, flamingos, cranes, and storks, along with rare sightings of the Lesser Florican during certain seasons.

After the safari, return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. Later, check out and begin your drive back to Ahmedabad. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or airport, concluding your memorable wildlife and heritage journey.
