Day 1: Arrival in Chennai

Upon arrival in Chennai, our representative will welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in and some relaxation, begin your city tour covering major highlights. Visit Kapaleeshwarar Temple, an iconic example of Dravidian architecture dedicated to Lord Shiva. Continue to Fort St. George, a significant colonial landmark reflecting British-era history. Explore Santhome Cathedral, built over the tomb of St. Thomas, showcasing neo-Gothic architecture. Later, visit the Government Museum, home to rich archaeological and cultural collections. End your day with a peaceful walk along Marina Beach, enjoying the sea breeze and sunset views. Overnight at hotel.


Day 2: Chennai – Kanchipuram – Vellore – Pondicherry (295 kms / 6–7 hrs approx.)

After breakfast, drive towards Pondicherry with fascinating stops en route. Visit Kanchipuram, one of the holiest cities in South India, known for its magnificent temples. Explore Kailasanathar Temple, Ekambareswarar Temple, and Varadharaja Perumal Temple, each showcasing intricate carvings and spiritual significance. Continue to Vellore to visit the famous Sri Lakshmi Narayani Golden Temple, adorned with gold plating and spiritual serenity. Explore the historic Vellore Fort and Jalakandeswarar Temple located within its premises. Later, drive to Pondicherry and check in at your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure exploring the beach or relaxing. Overnight at hotel.


Day 3: Pondicherry – Mahabalipuram – Chennai (160 kms / 3–4 hrs approx.)

After breakfast, begin your city tour of Pondicherry, known for its unique French colonial charm. Visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram, a spiritual center promoting peace and meditation, followed by a visit to Auroville, an experimental township dedicated to human unity. Explore the French Quarter with its colonial architecture, colorful streets, and charming cafes. Later, drive to Mahabalipuram, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for rock-cut temples. Visit Shore Temple, Pancha Rathas, Arjuna’s Penance, and cave temples showcasing Pallava-era artistry. After sightseeing, continue your drive back to Chennai and transfer to your hotel or airport for onward journey.
