Cochin to Alleppey & Marari Beach

Day 1: Cochin – Alleppey (60 km / 1.5 hrs drive) – Marari Beach

After breakfast at your hotel in Kochi, begin your drive to Alleppey, covering approximately 60 kilometers in around 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, board a traditional Kerala houseboat and begin your backwater cruise through tranquil canals lined with coconut palms and scenic villages. Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch onboard while observing local life along the waterways, including fishing and farming activities. Cruise past lush paddy fields and narrow canals, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. After the cruise (day-use houseboat), disembark and drive to Mararikulam (approx. 20–30 minutes). Check into your beach resort and spend the evening relaxing by the shore, enjoying the sunset and calm coastal ambiance. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Marari Beach Leisure Day

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day at leisure to explore and relax at Marari Beach. You may spend the day walking along the pristine shoreline, sunbathing, or simply enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. The beach is known for its clean sands, swaying coconut palms, and minimal crowds, making it perfect for relaxation. Optional activities such as cycling through nearby villages, Ayurvedic spa treatments, or yoga sessions can be arranged. You may also interact with local fishermen and experience the simple coastal lifestyle. Return to your resort after a peaceful day. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Marari Beach – Cochin (75 km / 2 hrs drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and begin your drive back to Kochi, covering approximately 75 kilometers in around 2 hours. Enjoy the scenic drive through Kerala’s coastal villages and countryside. Upon arrival in Cochin, you will be transferred to your hotel or airport for your onward journey. The tour concludes with relaxing memories of Kerala’s backwaters and beaches.
