Day 1: Arrive Hyderabad

Upon arrival at Hyderabad Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. The capital of Telangana, Hyderabad is renowned for its rich blend of Islamic heritage, royal palaces, bustling bazaars, and world-famous cuisine. After check-in, spend the remainder of the day at leisure. You may relax at the hotel or explore the nearby surroundings at your own pace. The city's unique character, shaped by centuries of history and cultural influences, provides an excellent introduction to your South India journey.

Day 2: Hyderabad Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, begin a full-day exploration of Hyderabad's most celebrated landmarks. Visit the imposing Golconda Fort, once the seat of the Qutb Shahi rulers and famous for its remarkable engineering and panoramic views. Continue to the nearby Qutb Shahi Tombs, where elegant domes and intricate stonework showcase the grandeur of a bygone era. Later, explore the iconic Charminar, the symbol of Hyderabad, and stroll through the colorful markets surrounding the monument. Visit the historic Mecca Masjid before continuing to the renowned Salar Jung Museum, home to an extraordinary collection of art and artifacts from around the world. End the day at the magnificent Chowmahalla Palace, which once served as the official residence of the Nizams.

Day 3: Hyderabad – Bidar – Gulbarga (Drive: Approx. 260 km | 5–6 hrs)

After breakfast, drive towards Gulbarga, an important historical center of the Deccan region. En route, stop at Bidar, a former Bahmani capital celebrated for its architectural heritage and strategic importance. Visit the impressive Bidar Fort, known for its grand gateways, palaces, and defensive structures. Continue to the historic Mahmud Gawan Madrasa, one of medieval India's most significant centers of Islamic learning. Explore the Bahmani Tombs, where elegant mausoleums reflect the artistic achievements of the period. Later, proceed to Gulbarga and check in at your hotel. Before returning for the evening, visit Gulbarga Fort and the remarkable Jama Masjid located within its walls.

Day 4: Gulbarga – Bijapur (Drive: Approx. 170 km | 4 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Bijapur, now officially known as Vijayapura, one of the finest heritage cities in Karnataka. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and begin exploring the city's architectural treasures. Visit the world-famous Gol Gumbaz, home to one of the largest masonry domes in the world. Continue to the elegant Ibrahim Rauza, widely regarded as one of the masterpieces of Indo-Islamic architecture. Explore the Jama Masjid, Bara Kaman, Asar Mahal, Mehtar Mahal, and the colossal Malik-e-Maidan Cannon. These remarkable monuments offer fascinating insights into the wealth, artistic achievements, and military power of the Adil Shahi dynasty.

Day 5: Bijapur – Badami (Drive: Approx. 120 km | 3 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Badami, the ancient capital of the Early Chalukya Empire. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel before setting out to discover some of Karnataka's most important archaeological treasures. Visit Aihole, often referred to as the birthplace of Indian temple architecture, where numerous temples demonstrate the evolution of early Hindu temple design. Continue to Pattadakal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its beautifully preserved temple complexes and artistic carvings. Return to Badami and explore the famous rock-cut cave temples carved into sandstone cliffs overlooking Agastya Lake. The dramatic setting and exquisite sculptures make Badami one of South India's most rewarding heritage destinations.

Day 6: Badami – Hampi (Drive: Approx. 180 km | 4 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Hampi, the magnificent former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire and one of India's most extraordinary UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax before beginning your introduction to this fascinating destination. Later, visit the scenic Tungabhadra Dam and enjoy views of the surrounding countryside. Continue to the Tungabhadra River and experience a traditional coracle ride, a unique local boating tradition that has been practiced for centuries. In the evening, ascend Matanga Hill to witness a breathtaking sunset over Hampi's spectacular landscape of giant boulders, ancient temples, and historic ruins.

Day 7: Hampi Sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring the remarkable ruins of Hampi. Begin with the Hazara Rama Temple, renowned for its detailed carvings depicting scenes from the Ramayana. Continue to the Royal Enclosure, where the remains of palaces, audience halls, and ceremonial platforms reveal the grandeur of the Vijayanagara Empire. Visit the Mahanavami Dibba, King's Balance, Lotus Mahal, and Elephant Stables. Admire the colossal Ugra Narasimha statue before exploring the sacred Virupaksha Temple, one of the oldest active temples in India. Later, visit the iconic Vittala Temple Complex, famous for its Stone Chariot and legendary musical pillars. The day concludes with a visit to the archaeological museum.

Day 8: Hampi – Hubli – Chennai (Drive: Approx. 170 km | 4 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Hubli Airport to board your flight to Chennai. Upon arrival, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. Chennai, the cultural capital of South India, offers a fascinating combination of colonial heritage, ancient temples, and modern city life. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time to explore the nearby surroundings or simply relax after your journey.

Day 9: Chennai – Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry (Drive: Approx. 160 km | 4–5 hrs)

After breakfast, begin sightseeing in Chennai with visits to Fort St. George, St. Mary's Church, Kapaleeshwarar Temple, and Santhome Basilica. Later, drive along the scenic East Coast Road towards Pondicherry. En route, stop at Mahabalipuram, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its ancient rock-cut monuments and coastal temples. Explore the Shore Temple, Five Rathas, Arjuna's Penance, Krishna's Butter Ball, and the beautifully sculpted cave temples. Continue to Pondicherry and check in at your hotel upon arrival.

Day 10: Pondicherry Sightseeing

After breakfast, discover the unique atmosphere of Pondicherry, where French colonial heritage blends harmoniously with South Indian traditions. Day 11: Pondicherry – Chidambaram – Gangaikonda Cholapuram – Thanjavur (Drive: Approx. 180 km | 4–5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive towards Thanjavur, visiting some of Tamil Nadu's most significant temple monuments along the way. Begin at the sacred Nataraja Temple in Chidambaram, dedicated to Lord Shiva in his cosmic dancing form. Continue to Gangaikonda Cholapuram, the former capital of the mighty Chola Empire and home to a magnificent UNESCO-listed temple. Later, visit the Airavatesvara Temple at Darasuram, renowned for its exquisite stone carvings and architectural refinement. Arrive in Thanjavur and check in at your hotel.

Day 12: Thanjavur – Trichy – Chettinad (Drive: Approx. 140 km | 3–4 hrs)

After breakfast, visit the spectacular Brihadeeswara Temple, one of India's greatest architectural achievements and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Trichy and explore the vast Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple at Srirangam, among the largest functioning temple complexes in the world. Later, visit the famous Rockfort Temple, dramatically situated atop a massive rock outcrop with commanding views of the city. In the afternoon, drive to the Chettinad region, renowned for its grand mansions, unique culture, and rich culinary traditions.

Day 13: Chettinad – Madurai (Drive: Approx. 90 km | 2 hrs)

After breakfast, explore the architectural heritage of Chettinad. Visit one of the region's magnificent mansions, featuring spacious courtyards, elaborate woodwork, imported materials, and decorative elements that reflect the wealth of the Chettiar merchant community. Later, drive to Madurai, one of India's oldest continuously inhabited cities. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. In the evening, visit the iconic Meenakshi Amman Temple, where towering gopurams covered with colorful sculptures dominate the skyline. Witness the vibrant atmosphere as devotees gather for evening prayers and ceremonies.

Day 14: Madurai – Hyderabad (Flight)

After breakfast, continue exploring Madurai's cultural treasures. Visit the impressive Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace, admired for its grand architecture and elegant courtyards. Continue to Alagar Kovil, beautifully located amidst wooded hills, and visit the sacred Murugan temples at Tirupparankundram and Pazhamudircholai, both important pilgrimage destinations. Later, transfer to the airport for your flight to Hyderabad. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and spend the remainder of the day at leisure.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Hyderabad International Airport according to your flight schedule.
