Delhi to Haridwar & Rishikesh by Train

Day 1: Delhi – Haridwar – Rishikesh (Train Journey + Transfer)

Begin your journey with a timely transfer from your hotel to the railway station to board the Dehradun Shatabdi Express (06:45 – 11:30 hrs) to Haridwar. Enjoy a comfortable and scenic train ride through the countryside, offering glimpses of rural India and changing landscapes. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and proceed to Rishikesh, a serene town nestled in the Himalayan foothills along the sacred Ganges River.

After check-in at your hotel, take time to relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings. In the evening, visit Triveni Ghat to witness the spiritually uplifting Ganga Aarti ceremony, where priests perform rituals with lamps, chants, and devotional music. Later, explore the lively local markets filled with handicrafts, spiritual items, and souvenirs. Return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 2: Rishikesh & Haridwar Sightseeing (including Kankhal)

After breakfast at the hotel, begin the city tour of Rishikesh, known as the “Yoga Capital of the World.” Visit the iconic Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, suspension bridges offering panoramic views of the river, temples, and surrounding hills. Continue to Sapt Rishi Ashram, a tranquil spiritual retreat where sages once meditated, followed by a visit to the serene Sapt Sarovar area.

Proceed to Beatles Ashram (Chaurasi Kutia), a unique site known for its artistic graffiti and association with the Beatles’ stay in India. Later, visit Parmarth Niketan, one of the largest ashrams in the region, where you can experience the peaceful ambiance and spiritual practices.

Continue your journey to Haridwar, one of India’s holiest cities. Explore the sacred Har Ki Pauri, where devotees gather to perform rituals along the Ganges. Proceed to Kankhal, the ancient part of Haridwar known for its spiritual significance, and visit Daksha Mahadev Temple, associated with Hindu mythology.

In the evening, witness the grand Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, a mesmerizing ritual filled with devotional energy and sacred chants. After this enriching spiritual experience, return to Rishikesh for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Rishikesh – Haridwar – Delhi (Train Journey)

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a leisurely morning at your own pace. You may choose to relax at the hotel, take a quiet walk along the banks of the Ganges, or simply absorb the serene environment of Rishikesh. This free time allows you to unwind and reflect on the spiritual experiences of the journey.

Later, you will be transferred to the railway station at Haridwar to board the Dehradun Shatabdi Express (18:12 – 22:50 hrs) for your return journey to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or onward destination, marking the end of a peaceful and spiritually enriching tour.
