Day 1: Bagdogra – Gangtok (Approx. 125 km / 3–4 hrs)
Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and begin your scenic drive to Gangtok. The journey takes you through winding hill roads, lush green valleys, and beautiful landscapes as you ascend into the hills of Sikkim. Along the way, enjoy glimpses of rivers, forested slopes, and small mountain settlements that reflect the charm of the region. On arrival in Gangtok, check in at your hotel and take some time to relax after the drive. The rest of the day is at leisure for acclimatization and personal exploration. Day 2: Gangtok Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel, begin your full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Start with a visit to Rumtek Monastery, one of the most important Buddhist monasteries in Sikkim, known for its beautiful architecture, peaceful surroundings, and rich spiritual atmosphere. Continue to Bakthang Waterfall, a scenic natural spot surrounded by greenery where you can enjoy the refreshing view and take photographs. Proceed to Tashi Viewpoint, which offers magnificent views of the snow-capped Himalayan ranges on clear days. Visit Ganesh Tok, a small but charming temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha, offering beautiful views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Later, explore Enchey Monastery, a centuries-old monastery with colorful murals, prayer halls, and a deeply spiritual ambiance. In the afternoon, visit the Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom, where you can shop for traditional Sikkimese crafts, carpets, Thangka paintings, and wooden souvenirs. Day 3: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
After an early breakfast, proceed for an exciting excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Drive through the scenic mountain route via Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary, where you can enjoy views of alpine vegetation, rhododendron forests, and dramatic high-altitude landscapes. On arrival at Tsomgo Lake, admire the serene beauty of this glacial lake, which reflects different shades of blue depending on the weather and season. The lake is surrounded by snow-covered peaks and offers a truly tranquil and picturesque experience. If the weather is favorable, you may also spot migratory birds and enjoy the crisp mountain air. Continue your journey to Baba Mandir, a revered shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, where visitors often pause to offer prayers and experience the peaceful spiritual setting. Day 4: Gangtok – Bagdogra (Approx. 125 km / 3–4 hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and begin your return journey to Bagdogra. Enjoy the scenic drive one last time as you descend through the hills of Sikkim, passing through valleys, waterfalls, and winding mountain roads. The journey offers a quiet opportunity to reflect on the peaceful monasteries, beautiful landscapes, and memorable experiences of Gangtok. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. The tour concludes with beautiful memories of Sikkim’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, and spiritual charm.
