Embark on an enriching journey across South and Eastern India, beginning in Bangalore with its gardens and colonial landmarks before traveling to the sacred Jain site of Shravanabelagola and the Hoysala temple towns of Hassan. Explore the magnificent ruins of Hampi, once the capital of the Vijayanagara Empire, followed by the royal heritage of Hyderabad. The journey continues east to Bhubaneswar and Puri, where ancient temples, coastal landscapes, and spiritual traditions come together. This tour offers a seamless blend of history, architecture, and cultural immersion across some of India’s most iconic destinations.

 

Day 1: Arrival in Bangalore

Upon arrival at Bangalore International Airport, you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After a short rest, begin your city tour of Bangalore, often referred to as the “Garden City of India.” Visit the lush Lalbagh Botanical Garden, home to rare plant species and centuries-old trees, followed by a walk through the serene Cubbon Park. Continue to explore Bangalore Fort and Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, reflecting the city’s rich historical legacy. Drive past the grand Vidhana Soudha and Secretariat buildings. The day offers a perfect introduction to Bangalore’s blend of history and greenery. Overnight at hotel.


Day 2: Bangalore – Hassan (200 km / 4–5 hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Hassan, passing through scenic countryside. En route, visit Shravanabelagola, one of the most important Jain pilgrimage centers in India. Climb Vindhyagiri Hill to witness the towering 17-meter monolithic statue of Lord Bahubali (Gommateshwara), an awe-inspiring spiritual and architectural marvel. Also explore Chandragiri Hill, dotted with ancient Jain temples and inscriptions. Continue your drive to Hassan and check in at your hotel. The journey beautifully combines spirituality, history, and rural landscapes. Overnight at hotel.


Day 3: Hassan – Hampi (330 km / 6–7 hrs)

After breakfast, begin your drive to Hampi. En route, visit the exquisite Chennakeshava Temple, a masterpiece of Hoysala architecture known for its intricate carvings and detailed sculptures. Continue to Hoysaleswara Temple, another architectural gem showcasing detailed depictions of mythological stories. After exploring these UNESCO-listed heritage temples, proceed to Hampi, a historic town set amidst boulder-strewn landscapes. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. Overnight at hotel.


Day 4: Hampi – Vijayanagara Heritage Exploration

After breakfast, begin a full-day exploration of Hampi, once the glorious capital of the Vijayanagara Empire. Visit the sacred Virupaksha Temple, one of the oldest functioning temples in India. Continue to explore the Royal Enclosure, Mahanavami Dibba, Hazara Rama Temple, and the iconic Stone Chariot at Vittala Temple Complex. Admire the Lotus Mahal and Elephant Stables, reflecting Indo-Islamic architecture. The surreal landscape of ruins, temples, and boulders offers a glimpse into a once-thriving empire. Day 5: Hampi – Hyderabad (Flight)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Hyderabad. Upon arrival in Hyderabad, you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure, allowing you to relax or explore nearby markets and experience the city’s famous cuisine. Hyderabad, known as the “City of Pearls,” offers a rich blend of Mughal and Nizam heritage. Overnight at hotel.


Day 6: Hyderabad City Tour

After breakfast, begin your exploration of Hyderabad’s iconic landmarks. Visit the historic Golconda Fort, known for its impressive acoustics and grand architecture. Continue to the royal Qutub Shahi Tombs, showcasing Persian-influenced design. Explore the iconic Charminar, surrounded by bustling bazaars. Visit Mecca Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques, followed by the fascinating Salar Jung Museum, home to an extensive collection of art and artifacts. Conclude with Chowmahalla Palace, reflecting the grandeur of the Nizams. Overnight at hotel.


Day 7: Hyderabad – Bhubaneswar (Flight) – Puri (65 km / 1.5 hrs)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Bhubaneswar. Upon arrival, begin your city tour visiting ancient temples such as Lingaraj Temple, Mukteshwar, and Rajarani Temple, known for their intricate carvings. Continue to explore the rock-cut caves of Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves and Dhauli, associated with Emperor Ashoka. Later, drive to Puri, a sacred coastal town. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. Overnight at hotel.


Day 8: Puri – Chilika Lake – Konark – Puri (130 km round trip)

After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Chilika Lake, Asia’s largest brackish water lagoon and a haven for migratory birds and dolphins. Enjoy a scenic boat ride amidst tranquil surroundings. Later, visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Konark Sun Temple, famed for its chariot-shaped architecture dedicated to the Sun God. Continue to explore Pipili village known for appliqué handicrafts and Raghurajpur artisan village showcasing traditional art forms. Visit Ramchandi Temple and relax at Chandrabhaga Beach. Conclude with a visit to the sacred Jagannath Temple (outer complex for non-Hindus). Overnight at hotel.


Day 9: Puri – Bhubaneswar (65 km / 1.5 hrs) – Bangalore (Flight)

After breakfast, drive back to Bhubaneswar, revisiting any remaining sites if required. Later, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Bangalore. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and relax. The evening is free to unwind or enjoy last-minute shopping. Overnight at hotel.


Day 10: Bangalore – Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to the airport for your onward journey. Your tour concludes with unforgettable memories of South and Eastern India’s rich cultural and historical heritage.
