This tour offers a sacred visit to the Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and an important Shakti Peetha, combined with a scenic drive through forested hills and wildlife-rich landscapes. Enjoy nature walks, birdwatching, and a forest safari experience, making this journey a unique mix of devotion and natural exploration.

Day 1: Hyderabad – Srisailam (230 kms / 5–6 hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel, begin your journey with a scenic drive from Hyderabad to Srisailam, covering approximately 230 kms in 5–6 hours. The drive is one of the most picturesque routes in South India, passing through the dense stretches of the Nallamala forest, winding ghat roads, and panoramic viewpoints overlooking valleys and deep forest reserves. En route, enjoy short stops at viewpoints where you can capture stunning landscapes of the Eastern Ghats and the Krishna River flowing through the hills.

Upon arrival in Srisailam, check in at your hotel and take some time to relax and freshen up. In the afternoon, proceed to visit the sacred Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Temple, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in India dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Begin the temple visit, explore the large temple complex, and witness the rituals and spiritual ambiance that attract thousands of devotees daily. The temple’s Dravidian architecture, intricately carved pillars, and sacred sanctum create a deeply devotional atmosphere.

Spend time attending evening aarti (if possible), offering prayers, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings of this holy site located near the Krishna River. Later, return to the hotel for a relaxed evening. Overnight at hotel in Srisailam.

Day 2: Srisailam – Nallamala Forest Experience – Hyderabad (230 kms / 5–6 hrs)

Begin your day early with breakfast at the hotel, followed by an immersive nature experience in the Nallamala forests. Start with a guided nature walk through the forest trails, where you can observe the rich biodiversity of the region. The forest is home to a wide variety of bird species such as Indian Roller, Grey Hornbill, Drongo, and peacocks, along with numerous butterfly species adding vibrant colors to the surroundings. The calm and untouched environment offers a refreshing contrast to city life.

Continue with a forest safari (subject to availability), where you may spot wildlife such as deer, wild boar, langurs, and if lucky, even glimpses of larger species native to the region. The safari also offers breathtaking views of forest valleys, rocky terrains, and river landscapes, making it a memorable wilderness experience.

After completing the nature activities, begin your drive back to Hyderabad (approx. 230 kms / 5–6 hrs). En route, enjoy scenic breaks and capture final glimpses of the Nallamala hills. Upon arrival in Hyderabad, you will be dropped at your hotel or airport, marking the end of your spiritually fulfilling and nature-rich journey.
