Day 1: Arrival in Jaisalmer
Upon arrival at Jaisalmer Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, take time to relax and unwind after your journey. Jaisalmer, set in the heart of the Thar Desert, welcomes you with its golden-hued architecture and tranquil ambiance. In the evening, you may explore nearby local markets or take a leisurely walk around the surroundings to experience the city’s vibrant culture. Day 2: Jaisalmer City Tour & Sam Sand Dunes (Approx. 40 km / 1 hr one way)
After breakfast at the hotel, begin the city tour of Jaisalmer with a visit to the majestic Jaisalmer Fort, one of the few living forts in the world, bustling with shops, temples, and residences. Continue to explore the beautifully carved havelis including Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, and Nathmal Ki Haveli, each reflecting exquisite craftsmanship and architectural brilliance.
Proceed to Mandir Palace, showcasing a blend of Rajput and Mughal styles, followed by a visit to Bada Bagh, known for its royal cenotaphs set against a scenic desert backdrop. Later, visit the Thar Heritage Museum to understand the local culture and history.
In the afternoon, drive to Sam Sand Dunes (approx. 40 km / 1 hour), where you will enjoy a memorable desert safari experience. Witness a breathtaking sunset over the dunes, followed by traditional Rajasthani folk music and dance performances. After an enriching desert experience, return to Jaisalmer. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Jaisalmer – Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy some leisure time to relax or explore nearby areas at your own pace. You may visit local markets to shop for handicrafts, textiles, and souvenirs unique to Rajasthan. Later, check out from the hotel and transfer to Jaisalmer Airport for your onward journey.
