The journey continues to Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok route, minimizing backtracking and enhancing the experience. Along the way, travelers visit iconic monasteries, desert landscapes, and high-altitude lakes. The tour concludes in Leh, offering a complete Himalayan experience with comfort, safety, and breathtaking views.

Day 1: Arrive Leh (3,500 m)

Upon arrival at Leh airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Due to high altitude, the day is reserved for rest and acclimatization, which is essential for a comfortable journey ahead. After breakfast (depending on arrival time), spend the day relaxing at the hotel and avoid any strenuous activity. In the late afternoon, begin a short orientation visit to Shanti Stupa for panoramic views of Leh town and surrounding mountains. Continue to Leh Market for a gentle walk and local exposure. Return to the hotel for rest and acclimatization. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, begin the city tour of Leh covering major cultural and historical landmarks. Visit Leh Palace, offering insights into Ladakh’s royal heritage and scenic views of the town. Proceed to Shey Palace, the former summer capital, and admire the giant Buddha statue. Continue to Thiksey Monastery, one of the most impressive monasteries resembling Potala Palace. Later visit Hemis Monastery, the largest monastery in Ladakh known for its rich collection of artifacts. Drive back to Leh with stops at scenic viewpoints along the Indus Valley. Evening free for leisure or market visit. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardung La (125 km / approx. 5–6 hrs)

Stop at the pass for photography and enjoy breathtaking Himalayan views (weather permitting). Continue the drive descending into Nubra Valley, known for its contrasting landscapes. Upon arrival, check in at your camp or hotel in Hunder. In the afternoon, visit Diskit Monastery, famous for its giant Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the valley. Later explore the sand dunes of Hunder and enjoy an optional camel ride on Bactrian camels. Return to accommodation in the evening. Overnight at hotel/camp.

Day 4: Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake via Shyok Route (160 km / approx. 6–7 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok River route, offering stunning landscapes and a less crowded experience. The journey passes through remote villages and dramatic mountain terrain. Continue the drive alongside river valleys and rugged cliffs, making occasional stops for photography. Upon arrival at Pangong Lake (4,350 m), check in at your camp. Spend the evening enjoying the mesmerizing lake, famous for its changing colors and tranquil surroundings. Take a walk along the lakeshore and absorb the serenity of the Himalayas. Overnight at camp.

Day 5: Pangong Lake – Leh via Chang La (140 km / approx. 5–6 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Leh via Chang La Pass (5,360 m), another high-altitude mountain pass. Stop at Chang La for refreshments and panoramic views. En route visit Hemis Monastery (if not covered earlier) or stop at Thiksey Monastery for additional exploration. Continue the drive along the Indus River with scenic photo stops.
