Day 1: Drive from Mumbai to Lonavala / Khandala – Historical Exploration (Approx. 85 km / 2–2.5 hrs)

Begin your journey with a pickup from your hotel or airport in Mumbai and drive towards Lonavala and Khandala. Upon arrival, begin your sightseeing with a visit to the ancient Karla Caves, famous for their grand prayer hall and intricate rock-cut carvings dating back to the 2nd century BC. Continue to Bhaja Caves, known for their stupas and beautifully preserved cave architecture. Later, explore the historic Lohagad Fort, offering panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and a glimpse into Maratha history. After sightseeing, check into your hotel and relax in the peaceful hill station ambiance. Overnight at hotel in Lonavala/Khandala.

Day 2: Scenic Points Visit and Drive to Mumbai (Approx. 85 km / 2–2.5 hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel, begin your morning with visits to scenic viewpoints and natural attractions of Lonavala and Khandala. Enjoy stops at popular points such as Lion’s Point, Tiger Point, and other valley viewpoints offering breathtaking vistas of the Western Ghats. Visit the beautiful Kune Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in the region, surrounded by lush greenery. Spend time soaking in the refreshing atmosphere, capturing photographs, and enjoying the tranquil surroundings. Later, drive back to Mumbai and transfer to your hotel or airport for your onward journey, concluding your memorable short getaway.
