Day 1: Arrive Delhi – A Grand Welcome to India

Arrive in Delhi, where your journey into Central India begins with a warm welcome and smooth transfer to your hotel. As you drive through the city, catch your first glimpse of India’s dynamic blend of old-world charm and modern vibrancy. If time permits, begin exploring the contrasting faces of Old and New Delhi—from the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk to the wide avenues of Lutyens’ Delhi. Witness landmarks like India Gate and pass by grand government buildings that echo colonial elegance. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax and adjust. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Delhi – Bhopal (Flight) – Into the Heart of Central India

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Bhopal, often called the “City of Lakes.” Upon arrival, you are transferred to your hotel before beginning a gentle introduction to the city. Visit the magnificent Taj-ul-Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques, reflecting Indo-Islamic architecture at its finest. Continue to Bharat Bhavan, a vibrant center of art, culture, and creativity. Later, enjoy views of the serene Upper Lake, where the city’s pace slows down beautifully. Evening at leisure soaking in Bhopal’s relaxed charm. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Bhopal – Sanchi & Udayagiri – Echoes of Ancient Civilizations

After breakfast, set out for an enriching excursion to Sanchi Stupa (approx. 50 km), one of India’s most important Buddhist heritage sites. Walk through ancient monasteries and stupas that date back over 2,000 years, adorned with intricate carvings narrating Buddha’s life. Continue to Udayagiri Caves, where beautifully sculpted rock-cut shrines showcase early Hindu iconography. The peaceful surroundings and historical depth make this day truly special. Return to Bhopal in the afternoon and relax. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Bhopal – Bhimbetka – Satpura (130 km / 4–5 hrs drive)

After breakfast, begin your journey towards Satpura National Park, venturing deeper into Central India’s wilderness. En route, visit the fascinating Bhimbetka Rock Shelters, where prehistoric cave paintings offer a glimpse into early human life.
