This thoughtfully designed itinerary combines the best of western and northern India in one seamless journey. The tour begins in Mumbai, where colonial architecture, coastal landmarks, and spiritual sites create a fascinating introduction. Aurangabad follows with its famous cave temples, allowing travelers to witness India’s finest ancient rock-cut art at Ajanta and Ellora. The journey then moves to the Golden Triangle, covering Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, each offering a different layer of India’s cultural heritage. With UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Mughal monuments, Rajput palaces, and vibrant city life, this tour delivers a balanced and immersive travel experience.

 

Day 1: Arrive in Mumbai

Upon arrival at Mumbai airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After freshening up, the rest of the day is free for relaxation after your journey. You may take a short walk in the nearby area or simply enjoy the atmosphere of India’s most energetic city. Mumbai offers a fascinating blend of modern life, colonial charm, and coastal spirit. This day is kept light to help you settle in comfortably before the sightseeing begins. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Mumbai Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin a full-day sightseeing tour of Mumbai. Visit the Gateway of India, one of the city’s most iconic waterfront landmarks, and continue to the Elephanta Caves by ferry, subject to weather conditions. Explore the UNESCO-listed cave temples, famous for their ancient carvings dedicated to Lord Shiva. Return to the city and drive past Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, a masterpiece of Victorian Gothic architecture. Visit the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel and other heritage precincts along the coastal stretch. Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Mumbai – Aurangabad (Flight)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Aurangabad. Upon arrival, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Aurangabad is a gateway to some of India’s most celebrated cave temples and archaeological treasures. Later, begin a city tour with visits to Bibi Ka Maqbara, often referred to as the “Mini Taj,” and the Aurangabad Caves, which feature Buddhist rock-cut architecture. The city reflects a blend of Mughal, Deccan, and Buddhist influences. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Aurangabad – Ajanta – Aurangabad (210 km round trip / approx. 5–6 hrs)

After breakfast, begin a full-day excursion to the Ajanta Caves. These UNESCO World Heritage Caves are among the finest surviving examples of ancient Indian art, known for their murals, sculptures, and Buddhist monastic halls. Explore the cave complexes that depict stories from the life of Buddha and the Jataka tales. The serene setting and remarkable craftsmanship make Ajanta one of the most unforgettable heritage sites in India. After completing the visit, drive back to Aurangabad. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Aurangabad – Ellora – Aurangabad (120 km round trip / approx. 3–4 hrs)

After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Ellora Caves, another UNESCO-listed marvel. Explore the extraordinary cave complexes dedicated to Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism, all carved from a single hillside. The highlight is Kailasa Temple, a monolithic rock-cut structure considered one of India’s greatest architectural achievements. Later, visit Daulatabad Fort, a powerful hill fortress with a long history and commanding views. Return to Aurangabad after sightseeing. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Aurangabad – Delhi (Flight)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in the capital city, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore nearby areas at your own pace. Delhi combines old-world charm, colonial architecture, and modern city life in one fascinating landscape. You may enjoy the city’s restaurants or take a short evening walk. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Delhi Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Start with Old Delhi by visiting Jama Masjid and driving past the historic Red Fort. Enjoy a rickshaw ride through the lively lanes of Chandni Chowk, followed by a visit to Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Continue to New Delhi and explore Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Drive past India Gate, Parliament House, and Rashtrapati Bhavan. Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8: Delhi – Agra (210 km / approx. 4–5 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Agra via the expressway. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax for a while. Later, begin your sightseeing with the world-famous Taj Mahal, a timeless symbol of love and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Continue to Agra Fort, a powerful Mughal fortress with palaces, audience halls, and royal courtyards. In the evening, you may visit Mehtab Bagh for a beautiful view of the Taj Mahal across the Yamuna River. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Abhaneri – Jaipur (245 km / approx. 5–6 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Jaipur. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the former Mughal capital known for its grand gateways, mosques, and palaces. Continue to Abhaneri village to see Chand Baori, one of the deepest and most impressive stepwells in India. Resume your drive to Jaipur and arrive by evening. Check in at the hotel and relax after the journey. The evening is free for shopping or leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Jaipur Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin a full-day city tour of Jaipur. Visit Amber Fort, a magnificent hilltop fortress known for its artistic interiors and sweeping views. Continue to City Palace, which displays royal artifacts and elegant courtyards. Explore Jantar Mantar, the ancient astronomical observatory, and stop for photographs at Hawa Mahal. Later, drive past Jal Mahal and explore the city’s colorful markets for textiles, jewelry, and handicrafts. Jaipur offers a lively and regal end to the Golden Triangle portion of the tour. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Jaipur – Delhi (265 km / approx. 5–6 hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Delhi. Enjoy the scenic highway journey as you leave the royal atmosphere of Jaipur behind. Upon arrival in Delhi, transfer to the airport or your hotel for your onward journey, depending on your travel plan. The tour concludes with unforgettable memories of Mumbai, Ajanta, Ellora, and the Golden Triangle. End of tour.
