Day 1: Arrive Mumbai – Gateway to India’s Cosmopolitan Culture

Upon arrival at Mumbai Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle. Upon arrival, complete check-in formalities (standard time 1400 hrs, early check-in subject to availability).

Day 2: Mumbai – Elephanta Caves & Colonial Heritage Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for an excursion to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Elephanta Caves.

Begin with a ferry ride from the iconic Gateway of India, offering scenic views of Mumbai’s skyline and harbor activity. Upon reaching Elephanta Island, ascend to the cave complex where ancient rock-cut temples dating back to the 5th–8th centuries await exploration.

Marvel at the grand sculptures dedicated to Lord Shiva, particularly the magnificent Trimurti (three-faced Shiva), symbolizing creation, preservation, and destruction. The caves provide deep insight into India’s early artistic and religious heritage.

Return to Mumbai and continue with a guided city tour. Drive past the Gateway of India and proceed to Marine Drive, famously known as the “Queen’s Necklace.” Visit the fascinating Dhobi Ghat, the world’s largest open-air laundry, offering a unique glimpse into the daily life of the city.

Continue to Crawford Market, a historic market filled with local produce, spices, and vibrant street life. Drive past colonial-era buildings, including the University area and Victoria Terminus (Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus).

Proceed to Arthur's Seat, one of the most famous viewpoints, providing dramatic views of deep valleys and the Savitri River gorge. Continue to Kate's Point, overlooking the Krishna Valley and Dhom Dam, followed by Elephant's Head Point, known for its unique rock formation.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your return journey to Mumbai.
