Conclude in Vadodara, where royal palaces and cultural landmarks bring your journey to a memorable close. Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai – Gateway to India & Coastal Charm

Upon arrival at Mumbai airport, you will be warmly received by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, take some time to relax and recover from your journey. Later, you may explore the vibrant surroundings of South Mumbai, including a leisurely walk along Marine Drive, often called the “Queen’s Necklace,” offering stunning views of the Arabian Sea. You can also visit Colaba Causeway, a lively street market perfect for shopping and experiencing local life. This day allows you to gradually immerse yourself in Mumbai’s unique blend of colonial charm, modern energy, and coastal beauty. Overnight at hotel in Mumbai.


Day 2: Mumbai Sightseeing – Elephanta Caves & Heritage Tour

After breakfast, begin your day with a ferry ride from the Gateway of India to the famous Elephanta Caves, located on an island in the Arabian Sea. These ancient rock-cut caves are dedicated to Lord Shiva and feature magnificent sculptures, including the iconic Trimurti. After returning to the mainland, begin the city tour with a visit to Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, a UNESCO-listed railway station showcasing Victorian Gothic architecture. Continue to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, housing an impressive collection of art and artifacts. Day 3: Mumbai to Aurangabad (Flight) – Cave Heritage & Forts

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Aurangabad. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and begin your exploration with a visit to Ellora Caves, a stunning complex of rock-cut temples representing Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain traditions. The highlight is the Kailasa Temple, carved entirely from a single rock. Continue to Grishneshwar Temple, an important pilgrimage site, followed by Daulatabad Fort, known for its impressive defensive architecture and panoramic views. Day 4: Ajanta Excursion – Artistic Masterpiece (210 km / 5 hrs drive)

After an early breakfast, drive to the magnificent Ajanta Caves, located approximately 105 km away (2.5 hrs each way). These caves are globally renowned for their exquisite frescoes, intricate carvings, and depictions of Buddha’s life and teachings. Set within a scenic valley, the caves offer both artistic brilliance and a serene atmosphere, making them one of India’s most treasured heritage sites. Day 5: Aurangabad to Nashik via Shirdi (220 km / 5–6 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive to Nashik, with an en route visit to Shirdi Sai Baba Temple, one of India’s most revered spiritual destinations. Continue your journey through picturesque rural landscapes to Nashik, a city known for its mythological significance and vineyards. Upon arrival, visit the Panchavati area, including Ram Kund, Kalaram Temple, and Sita Gufa, all closely linked to the Ramayana. Day 6: Nashik to Kevadia (415 km / 8–9 hrs drive)

After breakfast, begin your journey with a visit to Trimbakeshwar Temple, one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas, located amidst scenic hills. Continue your long yet rewarding drive to Kevadia, covering approximately 415 km in 8–9 hours. The journey showcases changing landscapes, from Maharashtra’s vineyards to Gujarat’s plains. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel or tent accommodation near the Narmada River. The evening is free to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings after the long drive. Day 7: Kevadia – Statue of Unity & Valley of Flowers

After breakfast, begin your exploration with a visit to the iconic Statue of Unity, the tallest statue in the world dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Ascend to the observation deck for breathtaking panoramic views of the Narmada River and surrounding landscapes. Continue to Sardar Sarovar Dam, an engineering marvel that plays a vital role in irrigation and water supply. Later, stroll through the Valley of Flowers, a beautifully landscaped garden offering vibrant colors and tranquility. Day 8: Kevadia to Vadodara via Champaner (90 km / 2 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive to Vadodara, with a stop at Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park. This UNESCO World Heritage Site features a remarkable collection of forts, mosques, stepwells, and temples, reflecting Indo-Islamic architecture. Day 9: Vadodara City Tour & Departure

After breakfast, begin your city tour with the grand Lakshmi Vilas Palace, one of India’s most opulent royal residences. Continue to Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum, which houses an impressive collection of art and royal artifacts. Visit Kirti Mandir, a peaceful memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi and the Gaekwad dynasty. After completing your sightseeing, you will be transferred to the airport or railway station for your onward journey, marking the end of a memorable tour through Western India.
