Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization & Local Market Exploration

Upon arrival at Leh Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Due to the high altitude of Leh, it is essential to rest and allow your body to acclimatize, so the morning is kept free for relaxation. After some rest and a light meal, begin a gentle exploration of Leh town in the afternoon. Visit the bustling Leh Market, where colorful stalls display traditional handicrafts, woolens, prayer wheels, and local souvenirs. Observe the unique lifestyle of the Ladakhi people and their deep-rooted cultural traditions. You may also visit nearby cafes or small monasteries within the town area. Enjoy the cool mountain air and the peaceful ambiance of this Himalayan town. Return to the hotel in the evening for proper rest and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2: Leh Sightseeing – Monasteries, Palaces & Stupas

After breakfast at the hotel, begin the day by driving through scenic landscapes along the Indus Valley. Start your cultural exploration with a visit to Thiksey Monastery, one of the largest and most architecturally impressive monasteries in Ladakh. Explore its multi-level complex, prayer halls, and giant Maitreya Buddha statue while enjoying panoramic views of the valley. Continue to Shey Palace, the former summer capital of Ladakh, where you can admire ancient murals and a magnificent gold-plated Buddha statue. Proceed to Shanti Stupa, a serene white-domed structure built to promote peace and harmony, offering breathtaking views of Leh town and surrounding mountains. Later, visit the historic Leh Palace, a nine-storey structure overlooking the town, showcasing traditional Tibetan architecture and offering insights into Ladakh’s royal past. Conclude the day with a visit to Sankar Monastery, a peaceful spiritual center known for its beautiful interiors and calm surroundings. Day 3: Leh – Departure

Depending on your flight schedule, you may take a short walk around the nearby areas or simply relax at the hotel while enjoying views of the mountains. This is a perfect time to reflect on your journey and capture some final memories of Ladakh’s serene beauty. Later, you will be transferred to Leh Airport for your onward journey.
