Day 1: Guwahati to Kaziranga National Park (200 kms / approx. 4–5 hrs drive)

Begin your journey with a warm welcome at Guwahati airport, followed by a comfortable drive to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its unique biodiversity. The drive takes you through scenic Assamese countryside, dotted with tea gardens, rural villages, and lush greenery, offering a pleasant introduction to North East India.
Upon arrival, check in at your wildlife resort and take some time to relax after the journey. You may enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the resort or take a short walk nearby to soak in the natural ambiance. The evening is at leisure, preparing for the exciting wildlife experiences ahead. Day 2: Kaziranga National Park Safari Experience

Start your day early with a thrilling jeep safari in Kaziranga National Park, exploring one of its distinct ranges known for high wildlife density. The park is home to the iconic one-horned rhinoceros, along with elephants, swamp deer, wild buffalo, and, with some luck, even tigers. Your naturalist guide will help you understand the park’s ecosystem, flora, and fauna.
Return to the resort for breakfast and some relaxation time amidst nature. In the afternoon, embark on another jeep safari in a different zone of the park, offering varied landscapes and wildlife sightings. This dual safari experience ensures a deeper exploration of the park’s rich biodiversity.

Day 3: Kaziranga to Nameri National Park (100 kms / approx. 3 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive to Nameri National Park, a lesser-explored yet equally captivating wildlife destination known for its dense forests and rich birdlife. The journey is scenic, passing through riverine landscapes and forested regions.
Upon arrival, check in at your resort and enjoy some leisure time in the tranquil surroundings. Later, proceed for a guided safari or nature walk within the park, where you may spot elephants, leopards, hornbills, and a variety of migratory and resident bird species.

Day 4: Nameri to Dirang (180 kms / approx. 6–7 hrs drive)

Afterward, continue your drive towards Dirang, entering the beautiful landscapes of Arunachal Pradesh. En route, visit the Tippi Orchid Centre, home to a wide variety of orchids, and the Sessa Orchid Sanctuary, known for its rich biodiversity.

Day 5: Dirang to Tawang (140 kms / approx. 6 hrs drive)

After breakfast, explore Dirang by visiting Dirang Dzong, a historic fortified village reflecting traditional architecture, and the nearby hot water springs known for their therapeutic properties.
Proceed towards Tawang, one of the most scenic drives of the journey. En route, visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial, dedicated to a brave Indian soldier, and stop at the stunning Sella Pass and Sella Lake, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and offering breathtaking views.

Day 6: Tawang Sightseeing

Day 7: Tawang to Bomdila (180 kms / approx. 6–7 hrs drive)

Upon arrival in Bomdila, visit the Bomdila Monastery, known for its peaceful ambiance and spiritual significance. Later, head to Bomdila View Point to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and mountains.

Day 8: Bomdila to Tezpur (160 kms / approx. 5 hrs drive)

Upon arrival in Tezpur, visit Agnigarh Hill, associated with mythological legends, followed by Chitralekha Udyan, a beautifully maintained park with sculptures and serene surroundings. Also visit Mahabhairav Temple, an important religious site dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Day 9: Tezpur to Guwahati (180 kms / approx. 4–5 hrs drive)
