Day 1: Arrival in Calicut

Upon arrival at Calicut airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, take some time to relax and freshen up. Later, begin your city exploration of Calicut, historically known as Kozhikode and once a major spice trading hub. Visit the bustling local markets filled with aromatic spices and traditional products, offering a glimpse into the region’s vibrant trade culture. Continue to explore historic temples and cultural landmarks that reflect the city’s rich heritage. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing walk along Kozhikode Beach, where the Arabian Sea provides a scenic backdrop and a peaceful ambiance. Return to the hotel after sightseeing. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Calicut to Wayanad (Approx. 85 kms / 3 hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the picturesque hill station of Wayanad. The journey takes you through winding roads, lush forests, and scenic mountain landscapes of the Western Ghats. En route, enjoy breathtaking viewpoints and refreshing natural surroundings. Upon arrival, visit Pookot Lake, a serene freshwater lake surrounded by dense forests and rolling hills. You may enjoy a peaceful walk around the lake or opt for a boat ride while soaking in the natural beauty. Later, proceed to your hotel in Wayanad and check in. Spend the evening at leisure amidst the tranquil hill environment. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Wayanad Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin a full-day exploration of Wayanad. Start your day with a visit to the famous Edakkal Caves, requiring a moderate trek up Ambukuthi Hills. The caves are renowned for their prehistoric rock engravings, offering insights into early human civilization. Continue to Kuruva Dweep, a beautiful cluster of islands on the Kabini River, known for its untouched natural beauty, bamboo groves, and rich biodiversity. Enjoy walking trails and peaceful surroundings here. Later in the day, proceed for a jeep safari at Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary, where you may spot elephants, deer, monkeys, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. After an adventurous and enriching day, return to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Wayanad to Kannur (Approx. 110 kms / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to the coastal town of Kannur. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and begin your sightseeing tour. Visit the historic St. Angelos Fort, built by the Portuguese and later occupied by the Dutch and British, offering panoramic views of the Arabian Sea. The fort stands as a testament to Kannur’s colonial and maritime history. Later, visit Muzhappilangad Beach, the only drive-in beach in Kerala, where you can enjoy a scenic drive along the shoreline. Continue to Payyambalam Beach, known for its clean sands, landscaped gardens, and serene environment. Spend time relaxing by the sea and enjoying the coastal beauty. Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Departure (Kannur / Calicut)

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed for your onward journey. You will be transferred to either Kannur or Calicut airport, depending on your flight schedule. As your journey concludes, carry with you the unforgettable memories of North Kerala’s scenic hills, pristine beaches, rich culture, and warm hospitality.
