Day 1: Pune – Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary (Approx. 200 kms / 4 hrs drive)
Begin your journey with a pick-up from your hotel in Pune and drive to Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary through the scenic Western Ghats. The drive offers beautiful views of forested hills, valleys, and winding roads, creating a refreshing travel experience.
Upon arrival, check in at your resort or camp and take some time to relax amidst the peaceful natural surroundings. In the afternoon, proceed to visit Koyna Dam, one of the major hydroelectric projects in Maharashtra, known for its scale and scenic setting.
Later, visit Shivsagar Lake and enjoy a serene boating experience surrounded by dense greenery and tranquil waters. The calm environment offers an ideal opportunity to unwind and connect with nature.
After sightseeing, return to your resort and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 2: Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary – Pune (Approx. 200 kms / 4 hrs drive)
After an early breakfast at the hotel, begin your day with a jeep safari in Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary, accompanied by an experienced naturalist. Explore the dense forest trails and observe the region’s diverse flora and fauna in their natural habitat.
The sanctuary is home to a wide range of wildlife including deer, wild boar, Indian gaur, and various bird species, making it a rewarding experience for nature enthusiasts. The lush landscape of the Western Ghats adds to the charm of the safari experience.
After completing the safari, return to the resort and proceed to check out. Later, drive back to Pune, enjoying the scenic return journey through the hills and countryside.
Upon arrival in Pune, you will be dropped at your preferred location, marking the end of your wildlife expedition.
