Continue to Mysore, known for its royal legacy, before exploring the modern yet historic city of Bangalore. Discover the magnificent ruins of Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and conclude your journey in the tranquil coastal town of Gokarna. This tour offers a seamless blend of heritage, spirituality, architecture, and beach relaxation.

 

Day 1: Arrival in Mangalore

Upon arrival at Mangalore airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in and some relaxation, begin your city tour of Mangalore. Visit the revered Mangaladevi Temple, known for its Dravidian-style architecture and spiritual importance. Continue to Kadri Manjunath Temple, one of the oldest temples in the region, offering a peaceful ambiance amidst greenery. Explore St. Aloysius Chapel, famous for its stunning frescoes painted by Italian artist Antonio Moscheni, depicting biblical scenes with remarkable detail. Later, visit Sultan Battery, an 18th-century watchtower built by Tipu Sultan, offering scenic views of the river and surroundings. After a fulfilling day, return to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.


Day 2: Mangalore to Hassan (Approx. 180 kms / 4 hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Hassan. On arrival, check in at the hotel and proceed to explore the nearby temple towns of Belur and Halebidu. Visit the Chennakesava Temple at Belur, renowned for its intricate carvings, detailed sculptures, and Hoysala architectural brilliance. Continue to Halebidu to explore the Hoysaleswara Temple, famous for its elaborate stone carvings depicting mythological stories, gods, and celestial beings. Also visit the Jain temples nearby, reflecting simplicity and spiritual elegance. Spend the day absorbing the historical and architectural richness of these sites. Return to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.


Day 3: Hassan to Mysore (Approx. 140 kms / 3.5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Mysore with an en route visit to Shravanabelagola, an important Jain pilgrimage center. Climb Vindhyagiri Hill to witness the towering monolithic statue of Lord Bahubali, offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Continue your drive to Mysore and check in at the hotel. Begin your sightseeing with a visit to the magnificent Mysore Palace, a grand example of Indo-Saracenic architecture and royal heritage. Proceed to Chamundi Hill to visit Chamundeshwari Temple and enjoy panoramic views of the city. Later, visit St. Philomena’s Cathedral, one of the largest churches in India. Day 4: Mysore to Bangalore (Approx. 150 kms / 3.5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Bangalore. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and begin your city tour. Visit Lalbagh Botanical Garden, known for its glasshouse and diverse plant species. Continue to Bangalore Palace, inspired by England’s Windsor Castle, showcasing royal interiors and architecture. Explore Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, a fine example of Indo-Islamic architecture. Later, enjoy a relaxing walk in Cubbon Park, a green oasis in the city. Drive past Vidhana Soudha, the impressive seat of Karnataka’s legislature. Day 5: Bangalore to Hampi (Approx. 330 kms / 6–7 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its ancient ruins and Vijayanagara Empire history. En route, visit Chitradurga Fort, a massive hill fort with impressive stone walls, gateways, and panoramic views. Continue your journey to Hampi and check in at the hotel upon arrival. Spend the evening at leisure, soaking in the unique landscape of boulder-strewn hills and ancient ruins. Overnight at hotel.


Day 6: Hampi Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin a full-day exploration of Hampi. Visit the Virupaksha Temple, an active temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and one of the oldest functioning temples in India. Continue to the Vittala Temple, famous for its iconic stone chariot and musical pillars. Explore the Lotus Mahal, an elegant structure showcasing Indo-Islamic architectural influences. Visit the Hazara Rama Temple, known for its Ramayana carvings, and the Royal Enclosure, including Mahanavami Dibba and other royal structures. Day 7: Hampi to Gokarna (Approx. 310 kms / 6–7 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Gokarna, a serene coastal town known for its beaches and temples. En route, visit Lakkundi and Gadag, famous for their ancient temples showcasing Chalukyan architecture. Continue your journey to Gokarna and check in at the hotel. Spend the evening at leisure, enjoying the peaceful coastal ambiance. Overnight at hotel.


Day 8: Gokarna Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore Gokarna, beginning with a visit to the Mahabaleshwar Temple, an important pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva. Day 9: Leisure Day in Gokarna

Day 10: Gokarna to Mangalore (Approx. 230 kms / 5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive back to Mangalore. En route, visit Udupi Sri Krishna Temple, a renowned pilgrimage site known for its unique traditions and spiritual significance. Continue your journey to Mangalore and proceed to the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your enriching Karnataka journey filled with culture, history, and coastal beauty
