Day 1: Kolkata – Sunderban National Park (110 km drive + boat transfer)
Begin your journey with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Kolkata and drive to Sonakhali/Godhkhali jetty, covering approximately 110 kilometers in around 3 to 4 hours. Upon arrival, board a motorboat for a scenic transfer through rivers and mangrove-lined creeks to your lodge in the Sundarbans National Park. Check in and enjoy lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, begin your first boat safari through the intricate waterways, offering glimpses of wildlife and dense mangrove forests. Experience the tranquility of the region while observing birdlife and aquatic species. Return to the lodge in the evening and enjoy dinner. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Sunderban Mangrove Wetland Exploration
After breakfast at the lodge, embark on a full-day boat safari through the narrow creeks and channels of the Sundarbans National Park. Visit watchtowers including Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower and other strategic points for wildlife viewing. Keep an eye out for the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger, saltwater crocodiles, spotted deer, and a variety of bird species. Later, visit a nearby village to interact with local fishermen, honey collectors, and residents, gaining insight into their unique way of life. Lunch will be served on board or at the lodge during the excursion. Return to the lodge in the evening and enjoy dinner under the serene natural surroundings. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Sunderban National Park – Kolkata (Boat + 110 km / 3–4 hrs drive)
After breakfast at the lodge, check out and board your motorboat for the return journey to the jetty. Enjoy the final views of the mangrove forests and waterways during the cruise. Upon arrival at Sonakhali/Godhkhali jetty, drive back to Kolkata, covering approximately 110 kilometers in around 3 to 4 hours. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or airport, marking the end of your memorable Sunderban wildlife experience.
