Day 1: Bagdogra to Darjeeling (Approx. 75 km / 3 hrs)

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and begin your scenic drive to Darjeeling. The journey winds through picturesque hills, tea gardens, and charming villages, offering beautiful views of the Eastern Himalayas. As you ascend, the air becomes cooler and refreshing, setting the tone for your hill station experience. Upon arrival in Darjeeling, check in at your hotel and take time to relax after the drive. Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing with Tea Estate Experience

Early morning, drive to Tiger Hill to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga, a truly unforgettable Himalayan experience. On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in the region, and the famous Batasia Loop, offering panoramic views of the hills.

Return to the hotel for breakfast and then begin your city tour. Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute to learn about mountaineering history, followed by the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, home to rare Himalayan species. Continue to a local tea estate where you will witness tea processing and enjoy a tea tasting session, gaining insight into Darjeeling’s world-famous tea culture.

Later, enjoy a ride on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, a UNESCO World Heritage experience offering scenic views of hills and valleys. You may also visit the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre and local markets for handicrafts. Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight at hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 3: Darjeeling to Gangtok via Kalimpong (Approx. 130 km / 4–5 hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Gangtok, with an en route visit to Kalimpong. This charming hill town offers scenic views and a peaceful ambiance. Visit Durpin Monastery, known for its spiritual significance and hilltop location, and Deolo Hill, offering panoramic views of the valleys and mountains.

Continue your drive to Gangtok, passing through beautiful mountain landscapes and river valleys. On arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. The evening is free to explore MG Road, the vibrant heart of Gangtok, ideal for shopping and local cuisine. Overnight at hotel in Gangtok.

Day 4: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast, embark on an exciting excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. The drive takes you through the scenic Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary, known for its alpine forests and breathtaking landscapes.

On arrival at Tsomgo Lake, admire the pristine beauty of this high-altitude glacial lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains. The lake changes color with the seasons and offers a peaceful, scenic environment. Continue to Baba Mandir, a revered shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, known for its spiritual significance among locals and soldiers.

After the excursion, return to Gangtok and enjoy the evening at leisure exploring MG Road or relaxing at the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Gangtok.

Day 5: Gangtok Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin your full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Visit the renowned Rumtek Monastery, one of the most important monasteries in Sikkim, known for its stunning architecture and spiritual ambiance.

Continue to Bakthang Waterfall, a beautiful natural attraction surrounded by greenery, followed by Tashi Viewpoint, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges. Visit Ganesh Tok, a small temple with scenic views, and Enchey Monastery, known for its peaceful atmosphere and cultural significance.

Later, explore the Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom, where you can shop for traditional Sikkimese crafts and souvenirs. Return to the hotel in the evening after a fulfilling day. Overnight at hotel in Gangtok.

Day 6: Gangtok to Bagdogra (Approx. 125 km / 4 hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and begin your return journey to Bagdogra. Enjoy the scenic drive through the mountains one last time, passing through valleys, rivers, and charming villages. Depending on your departure schedule, you may take short stops along the way for refreshments or photographs. Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, you will be assisted for your onward journey. Depart with unforgettable memories of Darjeeling’s tea gardens and Gangtok’s monasteries.
