Day 1: Arrival in Ahmedabad

Upon arrival at Ahmedabad airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, take time to relax and unwind following your journey. Ahmedabad, known for its vibrant culture and historical landmarks, offers a perfect introduction to Gujarat. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore nearby markets or enjoy a leisurely evening. The rest of the day is at leisure to acclimatize comfortably before beginning your journey.

Day 2: Ahmedabad City Tour

After breakfast, begin the city tour of Ahmedabad with a visit to Sabarmati Ashram, a key site associated with India’s freedom movement. Continue to Jama Masjid, an architectural masterpiece reflecting Indo-Islamic design. Visit Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, famous for its intricate stone latticework. Proceed to Adalaj Stepwell, a beautifully carved five-storey stepwell showcasing ancient engineering brilliance. Later, visit Swaminarayan Temple Kalupur, known for its vibrant architecture and spiritual ambiance. Return to the hotel after a day rich in culture and heritage.

Day 3: Ahmedabad – Dasada (Little Rann of Kutch) (260 km / approx. 5–6 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive to Dasada, located on the edge of the Little Rann of Kutch. En route, visit the magnificent Modhera Sun Temple, renowned for its intricate carvings and solar alignment architecture. Continue to Rani ki Vav, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its elaborate sculptures and stepwell design. Visit Panchasara Jain Temple, reflecting fine Jain craftsmanship and heritage. Continue your scenic drive through rural Gujarat landscapes to Dasada. Upon arrival, check in at your resort and relax amidst tranquil surroundings.

Day 4: Dasada – Rajkot (160 km / approx. 3–4 hrs drive)

Start your day early with a safari in the Little Rann of Kutch, a unique ecosystem known for the endangered Asiatic wild ass and migratory birds. Experience the vast salt desert landscapes and observe wildlife in their natural habitat. After the safari, return to the resort for breakfast and relaxation. Later, drive to Rajkot, a vibrant cultural city of Gujarat. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and proceed for a city tour. Visit Watson Museum and Kaba Gandhi No Delo, offering insights into Gandhi’s early life.

Day 5: Rajkot – Dwarka (225 km / approx. 5 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive to Dwarka, one of India’s most sacred pilgrimage sites associated with Lord Krishna. Enjoy a scenic journey through the Saurashtra region. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax before beginning sightseeing. Visit the revered Dwarkadhish Temple, an important spiritual landmark. Continue to Gomti Ghat and Rukmini Devi Temple. Day 6: Dwarka – Somnath (230 km / approx. 5–6 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive to Somnath with an en route visit to Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. Visit Kirti Mandir and Sudama Temple before continuing your journey. Upon arrival in Somnath, check in at your hotel and relax. Later, visit the sacred Somnath Temple, located along the Arabian Sea. Explore nearby sites such as Triveni Sangam and Bhalka Tirth. Attend the evening Aarti or light and sound show for a spiritual experience.

Day 7: Somnath – Sasan Gir (45 km / approx. 1.5 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive to Sasan Gir, home to the famous Gir National Park. Upon arrival, check in at your wildlife resort and relax. Later, proceed for an exciting gypsy safari in the park, where you may spot Asiatic lions, leopards, deer, and various bird species. The park’s diverse ecosystem offers a unique wildlife experience. You may also visit the Interpretation Zone to learn about conservation efforts. Return to your resort after the safari and unwind.

Day 8: Sasan Gir – Rajkot (160 km / approx. 4 hrs drive)

Start your day with an optional early morning safari for another chance to explore the wildlife. After breakfast, drive to Rajkot with an en route visit to Junagadh. Visit the historic Uparkot Fort, offering panoramic views and ancient structures. Explore Mahabat Maqbara, known for its unique architecture and intricate design. Continue your drive to Rajkot and check in at your hotel upon arrival. The evening is at leisure to relax or explore local markets.

Day 9: Rajkot / Ahmedabad – Departure (approx. 220 km / 4–5 hrs drive if Ahmedabad)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for your onward journey. You will be transferred either to Rajkot airport or driven to Ahmedabad airport depending on your departure flight schedule. Enjoy the scenic drive through Gujarat’s countryside while reflecting on your journey. This tour concludes with unforgettable memories of temples, wildlife, and cultural experiences.
