Begin your day with a pick-up from your hotel in Aurangabad and proceed to begin the city tour with a visit to the world-famous Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing 34 rock-cut caves representing Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain traditions. Explore the magnificent Kailasa Temple (Cave 16), a monolithic architectural masterpiece carved out of a single rock, along with intricately designed monasteries, prayer halls, and shrines.

Continue to Grishneshwar Temple, one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlinga temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Admire its detailed carvings, traditional design, and spiritual ambiance that reflects centuries of devotion.

Proceed for lunch at a local restaurant (optional), where you can enjoy regional Maharashtrian cuisine before continuing your exploration.

After lunch, visit the imposing Daulatabad Fort, known for its ingenious defense mechanisms, massive fortifications, and strategic hilltop location. Explore its gates, tunnels, and viewpoints while learning about its fascinating history.

Later, return towards the city and visit the ancient Aurangabad Caves, a group of Buddhist caves dating back to the 6th–7th century, featuring carved sculptures, meditation halls, and scenic hilltop views.

Continue to Bibi Ka Maqbara, often referred to as the “Taj of the Deccan.” Stroll through its formal Mughal gardens and admire the elegant mausoleum built in memory of Aurangzeb’s wife.

Conclude your sightseeing with a visit to Panchakki, a historic 17th-century watermill known for its advanced water management system and peaceful surroundings.
