Day 1: Tezpur to Bomdila (Approx. 154 kms / 6–7 hrs)

Upon arrival at Tezpur airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and begin your scenic drive to Bomdila, a charming hill town in Arunachal Pradesh. The journey takes you through winding mountain roads, forested slopes, river valleys, and picturesque Himalayan scenery, making the drive itself a memorable part of the tour. On arrival in Bomdila, check in at your guest house and take some time to relax after the journey. Later, enjoy the calm atmosphere of the town and experience the slow-paced mountain lifestyle. Day 2: Bomdila to Tawang via Bomdila Monastery and Nuranang Falls (Approx. 180 kms / 8–9 hrs)

After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to Bomdila Monastery, an important Buddhist center known for its Tibetan-inspired architecture, colorful prayer flags, and peaceful ambiance. Continue to Bomdila View Point, where you can enjoy sweeping views of the Himalayan ranges and the surrounding valleys. After sightseeing, proceed on your drive to Tawang, one of the most iconic destinations in Arunachal Pradesh. En route, stop at the beautiful Nuranang Waterfalls, a scenic cascade surrounded by greenery and mountain cliffs, perfect for photography and a short break. Continue your journey through the high-altitude landscapes and arrive in Tawang by evening. Check in at your guest house and enjoy a peaceful overnight stay in the mountain town.

Day 3: Tawang Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin a full day of exploration in Tawang, a destination deeply connected with Buddhist heritage and Himalayan history. Start with the magnificent Tawang Monastery, one of the largest monasteries in the world, known for its impressive architecture, sacred scriptures, prayer halls, and panoramic setting. Continue to Urgelling Gompa, the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama, and experience the quiet spiritual atmosphere of this historic monastery. Later, visit Tawang War Memorial, a solemn and important site dedicated to the brave soldiers who fought during the 1962 Indo-China war. Spend time exploring the memorial grounds and enjoying the surrounding views. In the evening, you may stroll through the local market, where traditional handicrafts and regional products offer a glimpse into everyday life in Tawang. Overnight at Tawang.

Day 4: Tawang to Dirang via Sella Pass and Jaswant Garh (Approx. 140 kms / 6–7 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and begin your scenic drive to Dirang. En route, stop at Jaswant Garh War Memorial, an important tribute to Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat and a place that carries deep patriotic significance. Continue onward to Sella Pass, one of the highest and most beautiful mountain passes in the region, where snow-clad peaks and serene surroundings create a stunning landscape. If conditions permit, pause briefly to enjoy the views and fresh mountain air. Proceed to Dirang and visit the historic Dirang Dzong, an ancient fortified settlement reflecting the traditional lifestyle of the region. Later, relax at the soothing Hot Water Spring, known for its natural warmth and therapeutic value. Check in at your accommodation and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight at Dirang.

Day 5: Dirang to Tezpur via Cultural Sightseeing (Approx. 190 kms / 6–7 hrs)

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Tezpur, taking in the beautiful mountain and valley scenery along the way. Upon arrival in Tezpur, begin sightseeing with a visit to Agnigarh, a hilltop site associated with mythology and legendary tales from the Mahabharata. Continue to Bamuni Hills, known for its ancient stone inscriptions and archaeological remains that reflect the region’s historical importance. Proceed to Da-Parbatia, one of Assam’s oldest archaeological sites, where you can see the ruins of an ancient Hindu temple and admire its sculptural details. Later, visit Chitralekha Uddyan, a beautifully landscaped park perfect for a relaxed stroll and quiet reflection after the day’s exploration. Return to your hotel in Tezpur for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Tezpur Departure
