Day 1: Arrive Paro

Upon arrival at Paro airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel. After check-in and some relaxation, begin your journey with a gentle introduction to Bhutanese culture through a visit to a nearby traditional village. Walk through farmhouses, observe daily rural life, and interact with local families to understand their customs and lifestyle. Later, visit the impressive Rinpung Dzong, a magnificent fortress-monastery overlooking the valley. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely stroll through Paro town before returning to your hotel. Day 2: Paro – Punakha/Wangdue (Approx. 125 km / 4–5 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive towards Punakha via the scenic route passing through Thimphu and ascending to the breathtaking Dochula Pass (3,100 m), offering panoramic views of the Himalayan range. Spend time exploring the 108 chortens and enjoying the serene surroundings. Continue the drive into the lush Punakha valley, known for its warm climate and fertile landscapes. En route, take a short walk through Ewakha village to visit Chimi Lhakhang, associated with fertility blessings. Later, visit the stunning Punakha Dzong located at the confluence of Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers. Overnight at hotel or traditional guesthouse.


Day 3: Punakha & Wangdue Village Exploration

After breakfast, begin a day dedicated to exploring rural Bhutanese life. Drive through scenic hills to visit Talo and Nobgang villages, known as the ancestral homes of Bhutan’s royal family. Enjoy authentic interactions with local households, where you may share tea and learn about farming practices and traditional lifestyles. Walk through terraced fields and observe the region’s agricultural richness. Later, visit the charming Rinchengang Village near Wangdue, famous for its clustered traditional houses. Day 4: Punakha – Thimphu (Approx. 75 km / 3 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive back to Thimphu via Dochula Pass, enjoying scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, begin a comprehensive city tour of Bhutan’s capital. Visit the Folk Heritage Museum to understand traditional Bhutanese living, followed by the Textile Museum showcasing intricate weaving techniques. Day 5: Thimphu – Haa Valley (Approx. 65 km / 3 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive through scenic mountain roads towards the pristine Haa Valley, one of Bhutan’s least explored regions. En route, stop at small villages and viewpoints offering stunning landscapes. Upon arrival, visit Chebri village and continue towards Tachu Goempa area for panoramic valley views. Check into a traditional farmhouse lodge in Hatoey village. In the evening, experience a traditional Bhutanese hot stone bath and taste local “Ara,” a homemade Bhutanese beverage. Day 6: Haa Valley Exploration

After breakfast, spend the day exploring Haa Valley on foot, visiting remote villages and interacting closely with local families. Walk through scenic trails surrounded by forests, farms, and mountains while learning about traditional Bhutanese agriculture and daily routines. Day 7: Haa – Paro via Chele La Pass (Approx. 70 km / 3 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive back to Paro via the spectacular Chele La Pass, the highest motorable pass in Bhutan. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks and surrounding valleys. Stop to visit the secluded Kila Gompa, perched dramatically on a cliffside. Upon arrival in Paro, explore nearby villages and enjoy a relaxed evening in the town. Overnight at hotel.


Day 8: Paro – Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery

After breakfast, embark on the iconic hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery, Bhutan’s most famous landmark perched dramatically on a cliff at 3,120 meters. The hike takes around 4–5 hours round trip and offers stunning views of the valley. Optional pony rides are available up to the viewpoint. Visit the monastery and learn about its spiritual significance in Bhutanese Buddhism. After descending, return to the hotel to relax. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner and explore Paro town. Overnight at hotel.


Day 9: Paro – Departure
