Day 1: Arrival in Dibrugarh

Upon your arrival at Dibrugarh airport, our representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, take some time to relax before beginning your exploration of this serene tea-town region. Later, visit Jokai Botanical Garden, a lush green retreat where you can enjoy peaceful walks amid a wide variety of exotic plants, flowers, and natural beauty. The garden offers a refreshing introduction to the landscapes of North East India. Overnight at hotel in Dibrugarh.

Day 2: Dibrugarh to Mon (Approx. 120 kms / 4–5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Mon, a land deeply rooted in Konyak Naga heritage. En route, visit Shangnyu village, known for its impressive wooden monument and strong tribal identity. Continue to Mon and check in at your stay before enjoying lunch and local hospitality. Later, visit Chui village to observe the traditional lifestyle of the Konyak Naga community, including their distinctive houses, craftsmanship, and way of life. The day offers an authentic introduction to one of the most culturally fascinating regions of Nagaland. Overnight at guest house/homestay in Mon.

Day 3: Mon to Mokokchung (Approx. 155 kms / 5–6 hrs)

Today, depart for Mokokchung, an important center of Ao Naga culture. The drive takes you through scenic hills and peaceful rural landscapes that reflect the charm of Nagaland. On arrival, explore the local market, where colorful Ao Naga shawls and traditional crafts showcase the artistry of the community. Continue to Longkhum village, located on a scenic hilltop with wide views of the surrounding valleys, and visit Mopunchket village, where bamboo groves and forest surroundings create a calm and refreshing atmosphere. Overnight at guest house/homestay in Mokokchung.

Day 4: Mokokchung to Tuophema (Approx. 115 kms / 4–5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Tuophema, a charming Angami village known for its community-based hospitality. On arrival, settle into the village resort and begin exploring both the old and new sections of the village. Take a leisurely walk through the settlement to observe traditional homes, local lifestyles, and the blend of heritage and modern village life. In the evening, enjoy cultural performances that present the music, dance, and traditions of the Angami Nagas. Overnight at community resort huts/homestay in Tuophema.

Day 5: Leisure in Tuophema

Spend the day exploring the natural beauty and daily life of Tuophema at a relaxed pace. Embark on a soft trek through nearby forest trails and visit Rengma village, where the peaceful surroundings and traditional agricultural practices offer a deeper understanding of local life. Interact with friendly villagers, learn about their customs, and enjoy a traditional local lunch. The rest of the day is free for cultural interaction, village walks, and quiet reflection amid the hills. Overnight at community resort huts/homestay in Tuophema.

Day 6: Tuophema to Kohima (Approx. 35 kms / 1–2 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Kohima, the capital city of Nagaland, surrounded by scenic hills and a vibrant cultural atmosphere. On arrival, check in at your hotel and begin your city exploration with the Kohima War Cemetery, a beautifully maintained memorial honoring the soldiers of the Second World War. Continue to the Nagaland State Museum, where traditional artifacts, tribal costumes, ornaments, and weapons offer insight into the diverse heritage of the region. Spend the evening at leisure or explore the local surroundings of Kohima. Overnight at hotel in Kohima.

Day 7: Kohima to Khonoma (Approx. 20 kms / 1 hr)

After breakfast, continue to Khonoma, India’s first green village and a symbol of Naga bravery and conservation. The journey offers scenic views of terraced fields, forested slopes, and village life. On arrival, take a guided walk through the village to discover its stone houses, narrow lanes, and rich historical legacy. Interact with local artisans and learn about the village’s commitment to eco-friendly living. Visit the Khonoma Heritage Museum to explore stories of resistance, culture, and tradition. In the evening, enjoy authentic Naga hospitality with your local host. Overnight at homestay/community cottage in Khonoma.

Day 8: Exploration in Khonoma

After breakfast, set out on a soft trek through the Khonoma Reserve Forest, a biodiverse area known for its rich flora and fauna. Continue to the Tragopan Bird Sanctuary, where you may spot rare bird species in their natural habitat. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the open air and take in the peaceful surroundings of the forest. Later, explore terraced farms, herbal gardens, and village trails that reflect the community’s sustainable way of life. The evening is free for cultural interaction and village activities. Day 9: Khonoma to Imphal (Approx. 150 kms / 4–5 hrs)

After breakfast, depart for Imphal, the capital of Manipur, passing through scenic hills, valleys, and remote settlements along the way. On arrival, check in at your hotel and begin your sightseeing with Kangla Fort, the historic royal seat of Manipur. Continue to the War Cemeteries, where the neat gardens and memorials honor those who lost their lives during World War II. Visit the Imphal Peace Museum, which provides meaningful insights into the Battle of Imphal and its lasting impact on the region. Overnight at hotel in Imphal.

Day 10: Imphal Exploration

Today, explore the natural wonders of Manipur. Begin with a visit to Keibul Lamjao National Park, the world’s only floating national park and the natural home of the endangered Sangai deer. Continue to Loktak Lake, famous for its floating islands and unique ecological system. Visit Sendra Island for panoramic views of the lake and its surrounding beauty. If time permits, proceed to Moirang, the ancient capital of the Manipuri kings, to explore its cultural and historical significance. Return to Imphal by evening. Overnight at hotel in Imphal.

Day 11: Departure from Imphal

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Imphal airport for your onward journey. As you depart, carry with you unforgettable memories of tribal communities, hill landscapes, forest trails, and the warm hospitality of North East India.
