Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Drive to Thimphu (55 kms / 1.5 hrs)

Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and begin your scenic drive to Thimphu. The journey follows the Paro and Thimphu rivers, offering picturesque views of terraced fields, traditional farmhouses, and forested hills. Upon arrival in Thimphu, check in at your hotel and take time to relax and acclimatize to the altitude. In the evening, take a leisurely walk through the local markets and streets to experience Bhutanese daily life. Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing & Hike to Cheri Goemba

After breakfast, begin the day with a scenic hike to Cheri Goemba, one of Bhutan’s most important meditation centers. The hike takes you through peaceful forest trails filled with prayer flags, chirping birds, and occasional glimpses of wildlife. As you ascend, enjoy stunning panoramic views of Thimphu Valley and surrounding mountains. After visiting the monastery and soaking in its tranquil atmosphere, descend back and proceed for city sightseeing. Visit Tashichho Dzong, an impressive fortress that houses government offices and monastic institutions. The day offers a perfect balance of hiking, spirituality, and culture. Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula Pass (75 kms / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Punakha, crossing the spectacular Dochula Pass at 3,100 meters. On a clear day, enjoy breathtaking views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks along with the iconic 108 chortens. Continue your journey descending into the lush Punakha Valley, known for its pleasant climate and fertile lands. Visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful fortresses, located at the confluence of Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Day 4: Punakha Valley Exploration & Rafting Experience

After breakfast, begin your excursion with a hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Temple, located on a hilltop offering stunning panoramic views of the valley. Later, enjoy an exhilarating white-water rafting experience on the Pho Chhu River, known for its scenic beauty and moderate rapids. Day 5: Punakha to Gangteng Valley (160 kms / 5–6 hrs)

After breakfast, drive towards Gangteng Valley, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful and untouched regions. The journey takes you through winding mountain roads, dense forests, and scenic viewpoints. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of Phobjikha Valley. Visit Gangteng Monastery, an important Nyingma school monastery with stunning architecture and spiritual significance. Day 6: Gangteng to Thimphu (160 kms / 5–6 hrs)

After breakfast, drive back to Thimphu through scenic mountain landscapes. Enjoy multiple photo stops along the route to capture Bhutan’s natural beauty. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, visit Buddha Dordenma, one of the largest Buddha statues in the world, offering panoramic views of the valley. Day 7: Thimphu to Paro & Tiger’s Nest Monastery Trek (55 kms / 1.5 hrs + trek)

After breakfast, drive to Paro and begin the highlight of the tour – the hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery. The trail winds through pine forests adorned with prayer flags and offers spectacular viewpoints along the way. After a steady climb, reach the monastery dramatically perched on a cliff at 3,120 meters. Explore the sacred site and absorb its spiritual significance and breathtaking surroundings. Day 8: Paro Departure
