Day 1: Arrival in Colombo

Arrive at Colombo International Airport where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, begin your city orientation tour covering key highlights of the capital. Visit the bustling Pettah Market, a vibrant hub of local life filled with shops, street vendors, and colorful bazaars. Continue to Independence Square, a symbol of national pride surrounded by colonial architecture. Explore the serene Gangaramaya Temple, showcasing a fascinating mix of modern and traditional design. Later, drive along the coastal stretch and enjoy views of the Indian Ocean. Evening at leisure to relax or explore local cafes. Overnight at hotel.


Day 2: Colombo – Anuradhapura (Approx. 211 km / 5 hrs)

Breakfast at the hotel. Begin your journey as you drive to Anuradhapura, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Upon arrival, begin the city tour of this UNESCO-listed ancient capital known for its well-preserved ruins of an ancient civilization. Visit the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi, grown from a branch of the tree under which Buddha attained enlightenment. Explore impressive stupas such as Ruwanwelisaya and Jetavanaramaya, showcasing ancient engineering brilliance. Continue to monasteries and ancient reservoirs reflecting advanced urban planning. Later, proceed to Mihintale, the cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka, offering panoramic countryside views. Overnight at hotel.


Day 3: Anuradhapura – Polonnaruwa – Sigiriya (Approx. 180 km / 4–5 hrs)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Polonnaruwa and begin the city tour of this medieval capital, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore royal palaces, audience halls, and intricately carved Buddha statues including the famous Gal Vihara rock sculptures. Witness ancient irrigation systems and reservoirs that highlight the engineering excellence of the era. Continue your drive to Sigiriya, enjoying scenic rural landscapes along the way. In the afternoon, visit the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress, climbing through landscaped gardens, water features, and fresco galleries. Day 4: Sigiriya – Dambulla – Matale – Kandy (Approx. 92 km / 2–3 hrs)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site consisting of five caves filled with over 150 Buddha statues and ancient murals. Continue your journey to Matale and visit a spice plantation where you will learn about Sri Lanka’s famous spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves. Experience traditional herbal preparations and their medicinal uses. Proceed to Kandy, the cultural capital nestled amidst hills. Begin the city tour with a visit to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of the most revered Buddhist sites in the world. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Kandyan dance performance showcasing local culture and rituals. Overnight at hotel.


Day 5: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya (Approx. 70 km / 2–3 hrs)

Breakfast at the hotel. Begin a scenic drive to Nuwara Eliya, known for its cool climate and colonial charm. En route, visit a tea plantation and factory where you will witness the entire tea-making process from plucking to packaging. Enjoy a freshly brewed cup of authentic Ceylon tea while overlooking lush green plantations. Continue through winding mountain roads, waterfalls, and misty valleys. Upon arrival, explore the charming town often referred to as “Little England.” Visit Gregory Lake for a relaxing stroll and enjoy the scenic beauty. Later, explore Victoria Park, known for its landscaped gardens and birdlife. Overnight at hotel.


Day 6: Nuwara Eliya – Yala – Hambantota (Approx. 170 km / 4–5 hrs)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive towards Yala National Park, passing through changing landscapes from hills to dry plains. Upon arrival, embark on an exciting jeep safari in one of Sri Lanka’s premier wildlife reserves. Traverse forests, lagoons, and grasslands while spotting wildlife such as elephants, leopards, sloth bears, crocodiles, and exotic bird species. The park is particularly famous for having one of the highest leopard densities in the world. After the safari, continue your drive to Hambantota. Check in at your hotel and relax amidst the coastal surroundings. Overnight at hotel.


Day 7: Hambantota – Galle – Colombo (Approx. 252 km / 5–6 hrs)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive along the scenic southern coastline towards Galle, passing charming fishing villages such as Matara and Weligama. En route, observe the famous stilt fishermen balancing on wooden poles in the sea. Upon arrival, explore the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by the Portuguese and later fortified by the Dutch. Walk through cobbled streets lined with colonial buildings, boutique shops, and cafes. Visit the iconic Galle Lighthouse and enjoy panoramic ocean views. Later, drive back to Colombo via coastal highway. Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.


Day 8: Colombo – Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Begin your final city tour of Colombo, covering colonial-era landmarks, modern shopping districts, and cultural sites. Visit local markets or enjoy last-minute shopping for souvenirs. Take a relaxing walk at Galle Face Green, a popular seaside promenade offering beautiful ocean views. After sightseeing, transfer to the airport for your onward journey. Tour concludes with unforgettable memories of Sri Lanka’s heritage, culture, and natural beauty.
